October is a magical time of year in New Orleans swamps. With fall fast approaching and temperatures dropping, it is extremely comfortable for both us and the animals! Many of our swamp critters are cold blooded, and they love taking advantage of the cooler temperatures of fall. With the warmer waters of the swamp cooling, a multitude of gators, turtles, frogs, and other critters are abundant. This is truly one of the best months to participate in a swamp tour in New Orleans. Guests on both airboats and swamp tour boats will enjoy temperatures in the 70’s and lower 80’s, which are very comfortable on the water!
