New Orleans is synonymous with its iconic swamps! Join us as we cruise through the beautiful backwaters of the city aboard one of our unique airboats or covered pontoon boats.

Our local guides are highly educated and well versed in the ecology, flora, biology, and folklore of the swamp. Enjoy the raw and unrefined beauty of the Louisiana swamps with an up close and personal view of the creatures that inhabit it including alligators, turtles, whitetail deer, wild boar, owls, waterfowl, raccoons, and much more! This extremely unique tour will take you to the most remote places New Orleans has to offer!

Swamp Tour New Orleans has three tour locations around New Orleans. Each of our locations has beautiful swamps rich in history and wildlife! The specific location is determined based on availability as well as the type of tour chosen. Once arriving at the dock, guests will be greeted by their local guide and ferried to the boat. After departure, your guide will traverse swamps, weaving through soaring cypress trees and across open marshland.

Encounter Native Wildlife Including:

Adventure across the water and even dry land as these highly powered and wildly maneuverable machines traverse the local landscapes of the swamps and marsh adjacent to the city.

Enjoy the picturesque views of the Louisiana wetlands at high speeds, providing for the thrill of a lifetime! Along the way your guide will make frequent stops, where guests will be educated on the native animals, plants, folklore, and even tales of voodoo! Our airboat tours allow for the most up close and personal view of the swamps and native wildlife as their guide interacts with them. Who knows, you might just be able to hold a baby gator!

Covered Tourboat

This tour is great for everyone! Having no age or physical limitations, this tour is perfect for couples, families, friend groups, and even corporate outings! Join us as we CRUISE the beautiful bayous with towering cypress trees covered with the iconic Spanish moss from the comfort of one of our covered swamp tourboats.

This tour is both highly informative and relaxing, with both seating,shade, and education! Sit back and relax as your local guide educates you on the critters and swamp ecosystem while pointing them out as you go. Many of our captains pack snacks for the gators, so if you’re lucky you just may get to feed some!

Private Tours

These are great for large groups or individuals looking for a deeply personal experience, or bachelor and bachelorette parties looking for a wild ride on the water. We have many different boat capacities allowing for many options for your private ride! If you are interested in a private tour, please give us a call at (504) 323-7123

Transportation

All of our locations are 20-35 minutes from downtown New Orleans. Round trip transportation to and from downtown can be added to your tour for an additional $25 per person. Ride shares or Taxis are also a good alternative. If electing to utilize ride shares or taxis, it is highly recommended that you schedule your return trip as they are less common in the remote dock locations. For those having the luxury of a personal vehicle, free parking is provided at each of our tour locations.
