Our city tour described below now includes a look at hurricane damage ( about one third of the tour). If you are interested mainly in Hurricane Katrina history and aftermath we can arrange a private tour.
Experience New Orleans with your native tour guide. Your your begins at the birthplace of New Orleans, the French Quarter. Then along Creole Esplanade Avenue to the City of the Dead,St.Louis #3. See the tombs up close as we walk you through our historic cemeteries. Then to areas much affected by Hurricane Katrina, City Park and Lakeview, also a look at the 17th St. Canal leevee break site. Then on to the "American Sector" New Orlean's Garden District along live oak tree lined St. Charles Avenue. See some of the most magnificent antebellum houses in New Orleans. we then return via Magazine St. to the Warehouse/Arts District which includes the D-Day Museum and sites from the movie JFK. We use smaller tour buses, no more than 24 passengers, very comfortable, with large windows. Our guides encourage you to mention any particular area of interest you may have, architecture, Creole history etc.Your questions are welcome. Hotel pick-up is included in tour price. Please allow about three hours from pick-up to return.

See the difference a smaller bus with great visibility can make. This size also allows more access to historic districts wher larger buses are restricted.
